About Greenacres 24/7 Plumbing
A call-only plumbing company on Lake Worth Road, built around one idea: tell people the price before the work starts.
What we do
Greenacres 24/7 Plumbing is based at 6415 Lake Worth Rd in Greenacres, Florida. We handle drain and sewer problems, leaks and burst pipes, water heaters, fixtures and larger jobs such as repiping, for homes and small commercial properties in Greenacres and nearby Palm Beach County towns.
There is no online form and no booking widget. You call, a person answers, and we work out what is going on. That keeps the first conversation honest and quick, and it keeps your details off yet another website.
How we price work
You get a clear price before work starts. If the job changes once a wall is open or a drain is pulled, we stop and tell you before going further. We do not publish flat prices online because the same symptom can come from a ten-minute fix or a slab repair.
Each service page lists the factors that move the cost, so you can see why two jobs that look alike are priced differently.
How to check any plumber, including us
Florida plumbing work should be done by a licensed contractor. Before you sign anything, check these three things.
- Look the contractor up on the Florida DBPR Verify a Licensee search at myfloridalicense.com.
- Check Palm Beach County's licensed contractor search at pbc.gov/pzb for a Certificate of Competency.
- Ask for proof of current insurance, and get the scope and price in writing.
The county also warns about ads with no license number, large upfront payments and oral-only contracts. A Business Tax Receipt is not a license.
What happens when you call
A person answers
The line is staffed around the clock. You describe the problem and your address.
First steps
We tell you what to do right away, such as which valve to close or which fixtures to stop using.
A clear price
Once we know what the job involves, you hear the price before any work begins.
The visit
A licensed plumber does the work, explains what was found and answers your questions.
What we do not do
We do not use online booking or lead forms, and we do not post exact prices on this site. We also do not diagnose gas leaks by phone. If you smell gas, leave the building and call the gas utility or 911 first, then call us about the plumbing.
Some jobs need a specialist or a permit office before they can start. When that is the case, we say so rather than promise something we cannot control.
Repair first, replace when it makes sense
Plenty of plumbing calls end with a small repair: a cartridge, a flapper, a cleared line. We say so when that is the case. Replacement makes sense when a part keeps failing, when repairs would cost most of the price of new, or when safety is involved.
Each service page includes a repair-or-replace table for its own topic, such as the one on the water heater repair page, so you can see the logic before you call.
Permits and local rules
In Greenacres, permit applications are accepted only electronically, and work must be done by a licensed contractor or an exempt owner-builder. Inspections are scheduled by 3:00 pm. For water heater changeouts, the City points to the Palm Beach County Universal Permit Application and a Water Heater Changeout Form.
We explain the paperwork on the relevant service pages, but your best source is the City of Greenacres building department. Ask them before you start any project you plan to do yourself.
Services at a glance
Emergency calls usually involve drain cleaning, a burst pipe, a failed water heater or a backed-up sewer line. Planned work includes repiping, tankless water heater installation and plumbing installation for remodels.
Businesses can use the same line for commercial plumbing calls, from restaurant drains to rental property repairs.
Where we work
Our home base is Greenacres, which the City describes as nearly 44,000 residents in about six square miles. We also serve Palm Springs, Lake Worth Beach, Lantana, Wellington and Royal Palm Beach.
The phone line is open 24/7. Call us any time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
What this website can and cannot tell you
The guides on this site explain how plumbing problems usually work, in plain language. They cannot see your pipes, so they cannot replace a visit. Where a rule depends on your address, such as sewer versus septic or which utility serves you, we point you to the City, the County or the utility instead of guessing.
If something here looks out of date, tell us when you call and we will fix the page.
Talk to a plumber
Call the 24/7 line and describe the problem. You will hear the price before work starts.
The code we work under
Our work follows the Florida Building Code, Plumbing, which Florida builds on the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Local building departments enforce it through permits and inspections.
That is why we steer permit questions to the City of Greenacres building department instead of guessing at what your address needs.
